Founded in 1968 as Sahakol Air, Bangkok Airways is a regional Thai airline operating regular flights to more than 20 destinations in Asia, including Thailand, Singapore, Laos, Cambodia, Maldives, and Vietnam. Its headquarters are in Bangkok and its main base of operations is Suvarnabhumi Airport, with a secondary base in Ko Samui.
Recognized for its full-service offering, the airline provides a premium experience with a 20 kg baggage allowance, seat selection, and onboard meals for both domestic and international flights. Its fleet includes Airbus A319, A320, and ATR 72-600 aircraft, each decorated with unique designs representing various destinations.
