Jointly owned by the peoples of Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica, it is headquartered in Trinidad and Tobago with an operational base in Jamaica. Caribbean Airlines employs over 1600 people. It is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and is certified by the IATA Operational Safety Audit. It is also an FAA-certified repair station under regulation 145.
